Maintenant, je fais une ronde dans la *salle de contrôle de commande d’ATLAS (*Ce système de contrôle s’appelle SLIMOS et a pour but de surveiller le bon fonctionnement d’ATLAS). C'est un travail qui se fait sur une base de volontariat pour garder un oeil dans tous les systèmes de sûreté 24h/24, 7 jours par semaine. La tâche principale est de réagir en cas d’alarme et de faire suivre l’information à l'expert concerné par le problème.
8. Machinists will often need to alter your part to machine some of the features. Work through this together and you’ll both be happier.
7. When you first bring your drawing to the machine shop, it’s common to scribble notes and explain what’s “not that critical.” This is a valuable exercise, but take the time to alter the drawing in your design software before giving it back to the machine shop.
